“Islamic” Antichrist: Myth or a Valid Theory?

December 23, 2016

Antichrist means, as we all know, someone who is anti- Jesus pbuh. To call someone anti-Jesus “Islamic” sounds absurd to me as a Muslim. After all, although Muslims do not consider Jesus divine, we believe him one of the greatest and most important prophets of God and the one and only Messiah. In a couple of my other posts I tried to explain why the Antichrist (Dajjal) cannot be a Muslim. But I found someone who actually wrote a book arguing the same and I think it is worth a read for those interested in Christian, Jewish and Islamic Eschatology. If anything, at least one can be open minded about this argument.

The author is Chris White and the book is called “The Islamic Antichrist Debunked: A Comprehensive Critique of the Muslim Antichrist Theory.” You can find it on Amazon and Google for a fairly good price. The author is looking at the theory from the Biblical perspective. Any Christian interested to learn and expand their understanding on the subject of the Antichrist should take a look. If you read it, let me know what you think.
